Almourol Castle
It's a dream castle. Fortress rebuilt by Gualdim Pais, Master of the Knights Templar, in 1171, it is the Ex-libris of Vila Nova da Barquinha. Surrounded by the waters of the Tagus river, stands out in a granitic massif of a small island on the Tagus, between Vila Nova da Barquinha and Praia do Ribatejo. The unique location of the castle makes it one of the most beautiful monuments in the country, being considered a National Monument since 1910.

Church of Atalaia
One of the finest examples of Renaissance architecture in Portugal, has in its interior tiles of great artistic effect of the 17th century and a treasure trove of religious art represented by the cup of the 16th century, in gilded silver. This 16th century building is considered a National Monument since 1926, being a place that's worth visiting.

Barquinha Park – contemporary sculpture
Alberto Carneiro, Angela Ferreira, Carlos Nogueira, Cristina Ataíde, Fernanda Fragateiro, Joana Vasconcelos, José Pedro Croft, Pedro Cabrita Reis, Rui Chafes, Xana and Zulmiro Oak. For the first time in Portugal, a space with the best of Portuguese contemporary sculpture , covering authors and pieces whose work was developed in the early 60 's to the present. It can be seen in the 17 acre Barquinha Park, National Prize for Landscape Architecture 2007.

Castle and Convent of the Order of Christ – Tomar
Magnificent ensemble of the 12th to 16th century-architecture and art, it is the main monument of the city and one of the most important in Portugal. It was declared World Heritage Site by UNESCO in 1983. It was the headquarters of the Templar Order and later of its successor, the Order of Christ.

Bonito Green Park – Entroncamento
Located in the northern part of the town, Bonito Green Park is the largest green area of ​​Entroncamento. It consists of a lagoon and a vast green space. After its rehabilitation in May 2013, it became the essential landmark of recreational and leisure in the town.
It is the ideal place to enjoy various outdoor activities, as hiking and cycling. In the lagoon takes place regular sports activities like fishing and canoeing.

Carlos Relvas House-Studio Museum – Golegã
Known as “The Temple of the 19th century Photography”, this building with unique features in the world, is a photographic studio built between 1871 and 1875. Fruit of the creative spirit of Carlos Relvas this building was designed with the specific purpose of celebrating and develop photographic activity. The architecture is marked by characteristic lines of revivals that marked that era, as the neo-romantic, the neo-gothic and neo-moresque.

Dam of Castelo de Bode
This artificial lake extends from the outskirts of Tomar up to Ferreira do Zêzere, Vila de Rei and Cernache de Bonjardim (Sertã) providing breathtaking views of forest and mountains. With over 60 km it is one of the largest watershed in the country. Created in the path of Zêzere river (…), it assumes a triple function: a leisure space, water supply and production of electric energy.

Constância, Poem Town
Born in the verdurous encounter of the Tagus River with the Zêzere River . Called “Poem Town”, because of the connection with several poets, including Luís Camões. The Queen D. Maria II has allocated the name of Constância in 1836, because of the "constancy" that its inhabitants demonstrated in supporting the liberal cause. Land closely linked to the rivers that surround, today lives essentially from tourist interest of its beautiful scenery, (…) and the tranquility of the waters that pass by its "feet".
Every year, the weekend of Easter is celebrated with the festivity of Our Lady of Good Voyage (Nossa Senhora da Boa Viagem), with its flowered streets by residents and adorned boats “engaladas” coloring the river; fete associated with the intense fluvial traffic of merchandise made for centuries between the port of this village and the capital (Lisbon).
